The Party at Point

The PQA would like to thank everyone for their support for the Gig on the Quay. The evening included a jazz band, pig roast, bar and concluded with the bonfire on the mine bank. I think all will agree that the event was very successful and it raised over £800 for the PQA. .
These funds will be used for general running costs involved with the quay and orchard and also for the Boule Pit, which will be built in the Orchard in September
Future plans include extending the existing slipway for easier access to the water, especially on neap tides.

A presentation was made to Tony James, to thank him for all his maintenance work for the quay and orchard over the years, it is very much appreciated. We would like to wish him a happy retirement…!!
